Is there a better Ponzi scheme?
Unfortunately, the answer is yes. The scheme is better not because the victims are any less defrauded or the victims are not defrauded at all, the scheme is better only because the perpetrators are protected against prosecution. The perpetrators are the gang of people who work as the U.S. government.

It struck me that the result from the effort to rid the past of the history of slavery now may come to the perfect ending with the elimination of a past problem that doesn't exist now. That itself deserves the "Go figure" award.
