The old expression for comments that were biased is “rose colored glasses”. In the current political environment, the expression can be modified to “race baiting glasses”, or “gay (LGBT….) baiting glasses.

Not knowing Spanish, the language of, when I gazed upon the phrase viva la migra, my immediate interpretation was, rejoice in a migraine.
