Liberals, progressives and others are distinguished by the assertions that others block you from doing better and that their ideas will improve your life. Things never do get better as a result and the one thing you may learn is that something that may sound too good to be true usually is too good to be true.

It struck me that the result from the effort to rid the past of the history of slavery now may come to the perfect ending with the elimination of a past problem that doesn't exist now. That itself deserves the "Go figure" award.
