Have you ever heard the expression “too much of a good thing”? Well, it seems society is learning that the corollary expression “too much of a bad thing” is a perception developing as a result of the “too much of a good thing”. Things good and bad become banal over time. So goes the cycle of history and the experience of those who live during their hysterical historical period. The unifying thread that provides the continuity for mankind is the children's love of God’s goodness and His love of His children.

It struck me that the result from the effort to rid the past of the history of slavery now may come to the perfect ending with the elimination of a past problem that doesn't exist now. That itself deserves the "Go figure" award.
