It is difficult to understand the restricted mental process and resulting lack of comprehension of people who say “I/We are coming for your kids.” What does not seem to enter their thoughts is a rational self-question, what if the person(s) to whom they are saying this are thinking I/We will come for you. It will be no less likely than the sun rising.
