Children hide what they are doing when they know they should not be doing whatever it is they are doing. If the thought crosses your mind that “grown-ups” do not behave the same way, ask any criminal or examine the behavior of many politicians if everything they do “for the good” of the public is open to public scrutiny.

It struck me that the result from the effort to rid the past of the history of slavery now may come to the perfect ending with the elimination of a past problem that doesn't exist now. That itself deserves the "Go figure" award.
