Wisdom will clarify one reason why a person should adhere to the saying “If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say it.” It is because a wise person will know that their own (including myself) biased perception of reality will prevent them from realizing when they are talking about (describing) them self.
For example: excerpt from bho’s thoughts on DJT: Obama told foundation donors that Trump was a "madman", a "racist, sexist pig", a "lunatic" and all-in-all a "corrupt motherf*****.
So, it is hereby nicely proclaimed (said).

To turn my leering leaching eye to the realm of "Notes", for example "Community Notes" and all other sources of information sometimes also called data either for or not for "checking" or any other purpose such as research. Can there be identified anything that is useless before one's encounter with such note (source)?

What I am quite but not completely sure of is that I would support not preventing anyone from not doing what they do not want to do. However, in some situations I would not recommend such behavior.
