It requires a smattering of wisdom to realize that one person cannot do anything to change the fear that is in another person’s mind. Like an addiction, the addict (fearful one) has to change their own mind. It is a situation not different from a person who thinks their fear of disease will be reduced, minimized or alleviated by forcing others to implement an injection or ingestion of a preventative drug that may be a placebo or chemically ineffective.

Dear Joanne, this time is bringing to my mind that 3 years have passed since you left for residence with our Lord on this calendar date eve. I am hoping faithfully that when times require my joining with you that our Lord sends you as messenger to bring me home. I love our Lord and I love you. More than understood to this day, this letter of love reminds me of the many love letters between us. What has affected me is the realization after all these decades I do not remember thanking you for the "Dear John" letter I did not receive throughout our life together, especially during times apart. Life continues as glorious as our Lord has made my days for me to witness His creation.
