It is as valid to say that the U.S. is consuming one billionth or one trillionth of the worlds resources as the claim that we consume 25%. There is no limit. If they complain, then they should explain what is the fixed amount and ultimate limit of the solar energy so adoringly advocated, or what is the limit of nuclear energy, or what resources will be discovered, or how much hot air (wind), that they also advocate, is there? This is just another make believe premise created with no scientific or market justifications.
The whole description is meaningless, as are most progressives, liberals, democrats comments. Just ask Barney Frank. If his blubber (speech) doesn’t make you into a pressure cooker, nothing will.

Maybe the most self-beneficial reconciling penance administered by/for/to humans is performed by politicians who have a blinding trust in the concept employed as preventative responsibility contained within the theory of plausible deniability. That, on judgement day penance may be translated to the language of individual responsibility and will fail the Judge's inquiry and be passed on as the administration of justice.
