If a law cannot be applied to everyone it is not a right. It is a wrong.
For example: If you cannot give welfare to everyone. It is not a right. It is wrong to give it to anyone without consent of the people paying for it.

It struck me that the result from the effort to rid the past of the history of slavery now may come to the perfect ending with the elimination of a past problem that doesn't exist now. That itself deserves the "Go figure" award.
