Whether the event is grooming children in school behind parents’ backs, cheating by changing ballots, robbing a bank, taking the cookie from the cookie jar or any despicable act picked from the infinite bouquet of deceptions, if a party hides their actions, it is most likely because they know they are in the wrong. That is, their deceitful behavior is their internal acknowledgement of their own conscience giving them the metaphorical heart(and soul)burn.
