Are there any investments you can identify that are yours? How is the $17* $31 trillion in debt to be repaid? The loans were used for your investments. How much of the debt are you obligated to pay back?
Or, do you earn less than before? Have your retirement investments increased or are you planning on retiring on $2400 per month or less for 20 years or more? Do you owe more than you did before?
*On March 14, 2014 the National Debt was $17 trillion. Today, March 30, 2023 the debt is $31 trillion.
