When someone asks (to ask is a statement) another person to remove a statement, tweet or any form of public communication because they or someone they “know” is bothered by the statement, are they not actually or pretending that they do not realize they are being offensive? Perhaps even more offensive, because they are making an assumption about the reasons the statement was made?

I have not had a meeting with (TOS) Terms Of Service. Perhaps someday TOS will send me a message not knowing that the TOS has to meet with my TOU Terms Of Use.
