If memory serves correctly, there was a strike by the National Park Service in the fall of 2013. The union members blocked access to various monuments. The actions taken by the union brought to mind the thought that the National Park Service employees demonstrated that they are a union behaving like they are on a strike. In the future a very effective reason to strike would be to fire them all. Both sides would be winners.
