People think the way they live their life is the best and right way for themselves to live. A major difference between liberals, progressives and conservatives is liberals, progressives have a desire to force you to live your life as they deem fit. As opposed to conservatives, who believe life is about letting people live as they deem fit for themselves as long as it does not encroach on the lives of others.

Maybe the most self-beneficial reconciling penance administered by/for/to humans is performed by politicians who have a blinding trust in the concept employed as preventative responsibility contained within the theory of plausible deniability.
