Progressives, liberals, democrats place the blame on the same people they want and need to solve their problem.
If you blame yourself, then you can change your future.
If you blame someone else, then only they can change your future.
Or:
If you are not responsible for the results of your own decisions, you will never be more than what the responsible person wants you to be.
Or:
A change you make will be better for you because your care about your family and yourself.
A change a person who works for the government makes will be better for himself because he cares more about his family and himself.

To turn my leering leaching eye to the realm of "Notes", for example "Community Notes" and all other sources of information sometimes also called data either for or not for "checking" or any other purpose such as research. What I am quite but not completely sure of is that I would support not preventing anyone from not doing what they do not want to do. However, in some situations I would not recommend such behavior.
