A fundamental problem of the progressive, liberal, democrat philosophy is their belief that life is improved by changing the rules. Conservatives believe that life is improved by producing more.
For example: Which of the following two options will improve lives? First, a person prints a bushel full of money and gives that money to people or second, a person produces a bushel full of wheat (or corn if you dislike gluten) and distribute that to people. For this example, to be properly and fully understood apply it in the macro. I.E., there are no other options or goods available. If you have no wheat, then the money better have nutritional value.

Maybe the most self-beneficial reconciling penance administered by/for/to humans is performed by politicians who have a blinding trust in the concept employed as preventative responsibility contained within the theory of plausible deniability.
