In support of the revitalized Russian nationalism that has stimulated the takeover of the Crimea Peninsula because, as Putin puts it: “Crimea has always been an integral part of Russia in the hearts and minds of people”. Since Cuba fits the same description to the American people, I recommend that we take over Cuba as part of the U.S. It is in the hearts and minds of many people both in the U.S. and in Cuba. What could be wrong at that? While we are at it, perhaps we should think of Mexico after Cuba. Most of the people of Mexico have family here in the U.S. and we can make up for the incursion Russia made into Georgia a few years back. If we really get rolling, look out Canada and Central America. You know, there are great times to be had by all using liberals’ rules. The only issue will be that liberals will conveniently forget it is liberal policies that were the cause of the problem.

Maybe the most self-beneficial reconciling penance administered by/for/to humans is performed by politicians who have a blinding trust in the concept employed as preventative responsibility contained within the theory of plausible deniability.
