So, what came first, the solution or the problem?
A fundamental flaw in the rationale of democrats, liberals, progressives is the belief that government solves problems.
Hypothesis:
The problem: “Person”, under the banner “for the common good” needs a solution for issue Z;
Methodology:
“Person” searches the private sector for individual “A” or company “B” to solve the problem in order to profit from the sale of a solution to the problem.
Result:
A and B decline the project because it can’t be done, it will be unprofitable, or it is just too risky.
Solution:
Take it to a politician who tells you if you contribute to his campaign, he will find the solution when elected.
Follow-up:
After the election the politician hires “A” and/or “B” to solve the problem despite their inability to solve the problem.
Result:
Wasted money. It is the solution your fellow citizens who are elected to govern provide to you.
Moral of the story:
Government provides nothing for something. It depends on whether you are “A”, “B”, the politician for the Person with the problem. If you’re the citizen, you have been hoodwinked, snookered and BS’d.

To turn my leering leaching eye to the realm of "Notes", for example "Community Notes" and all other sources of information sometimes also called data either for or not for "checking" or any other purpose such as research. Can there be identified anything that is useless before one's encounter with such note (source)?
Requisite condition: How would one know for themself?
Do I hear it now? What you say?
Self-assigned complication rating: <1>). Or maybe zero.
Point: Everything old is always new to some or many.

What I am quite but not completely sure of is that I would support not preventing anyone from not doing what they do not want to do. However, in some situations I would not recommend such behavior.
