Government has changed its image and performance from Uncle Sam to a nagging mother-in-law on an extended visit in your house.
PS: It was contemplated to omit the word mother in “mother-in-law” to avoid appearing to be a misogynist. Then I remembered the people who would think that will come to the same conclusion even if mother is left out.

To turn my leering leaching eye to the realm of "Notes", for example "Community Notes" and all other sources of information sometimes also called data either for or not for "checking" or any other purpose such as research. What I am quite but not completely sure of is that I would support not preventing anyone from not doing what they do not want to do. However, in some situations I would not recommend such behavior.
