In a broad examination there is no significant difference between the democrats and republicans on the path the politicians are on. Why would someone vote for a republican who performs as though they can't and/or won't change the direction. The inevitable end is the failure of the people who are government. Why prolong the pain? Get to the end so the reconstruction can begin. It is just history repeating itself.

It struck me that the result from the effort to rid the past of the history of slavery now may come to the perfect ending with the elimination of a past problem that doesn't exist now. That itself deserves the "Go figure" award.
