The result of social media blocking channels is analogical to the reaction of a child or adult who is participating in a game after being peeved by some perceived slight, taking their “blanket” or bat, ball and glove and going home because of that slight. The outcome is to isolate themselves. They are not isolating the person or persons who they think slighted them.
