Today March 14, 2014, if nothing changes, this is what social security will provide if you start contributing when you are 20 years old, work 45 years at $100,000.00 per year. The total contribution to your social security account that you and your employer contribute is 15% over 45 years. That is $15,000 (approx.) per year times the 45 years. The result is $675,000.00. The maximum you can collect if you contribute the maximum amount possible for the 45 years is $2,400 per month (approx.) which is $28,800.00 per year. If you are fortunate enough to live 20 years after you retire you will recoup benefits for 20 years times $28,800 per year. A total of 576,000.00. The government keeps almost $100,000.00 of your money. Great deal, isn’t it? Great investors, aren’t they? Bernie Madoff was a piker.

To turn my leering leaching eye to the realm of "Notes", for example "Community Notes" and all other sources of information sometimes also called data either for or not for "checking" or any other purpose such as research. Can there be identified anything that is useless before one's encounter with such note (source)?
Requisite condition: How would one know for themself?
Do I hear it now? What you say?
Self-assigned complication rating: <1>). Or maybe zero.
Point: Everything old is always new to some or many.

What I am quite but not completely sure of is that I would support not preventing anyone from not doing what they do not want to do. However, in some situations I would not recommend such behavior.
