Do you know why the expression “drink the cool aid” is used? Because the person who coined this phrase didn’t know history and that it previously was called “magic elixir” by traveling snake oil salesmen. To turn my leering leaching eye to the realm of "Notes", for example "Community Notes" and all other sources of information sometimes also called data either for or not for "checking" or any other purpose such as research.
