Liberals, progressives have deluded themselves to believe that women who seek abortions have been subject to unsanitary, unsafe and horrible conditions because of a scornful mean society. In their souls, or what they consider their souls, the liberals know the real reason for such conditions. I can succinctly express that reason in a question.
What makes you, a liberal or anyone else, think that a “doctor”, sworn to protect life, who demonstrates no respect for the life of a defenseless fetus, will have any respect for a fetus that made it through birth? The fetus that made it through birth is the patient now seeking the abortion. Based on the doctor’s occupation that doctor believes the patient is there because either she was not aborted properly, or she survived an abortion. Dreams are made of the rationalizations that liberals would use to answer the question posed.
PS. It really isn’t the scalpel that does the abortion. It is the person holding the scalpel.

Maybe the most self-beneficial reconciling penance administered by/for/to humans is performed by politicians who have a blinding trust in the concept employed as preventative responsibility contained within the theory of plausible deniability. That, on judgement day penance may be translated to the language of individual responsibility and will fail the Judge's inquiry and be passed on as the administration of justice.
