The danger from a professional/medical/scientist who is ideologically anchored to a product or treatment is the incessant and what seems to be an undeniable need to not be wrong. The need influences their perception and decisions to the extent of denying real events and real information and as a result can lead to detrimental actions even to the possible death of a person under their care.

It struck me that the result from the effort to rid the past of the history of slavery now may come to the perfect ending with the elimination of a past problem that doesn't exist now. That itself deserves the "Go figure" award.
