Maybe what is needed to determine the sincerity of advocates is a 21st century equivalent of the King Solomon’s wisdom. The wisdom demonstrated in the 2 mothers and 1 baby case. For the advocates of this 21st century, what could be used is a test of belief and commitment on the part of the advocates.
Three examples:
1. If an advocate proclaims that it is possible to change genders, then have such change(s) performed on themself by the advocate themself when possible. Will not that demonstrate the actual performance and viability of the claim?
2. If an advocate proclaims that abortion should be practiced, should not that person demonstrate their own abortion, performed by themselves when possible. Either pre or post birth to demonstrate the performance and viability of abortion.
3. Regarding environmental concerns, the advocate should demonstrate any aspect of the environment change that they proclaim can be done by them by just doing it themselves.

Maybe the most self-beneficial reconciling penance administered by/for/to humans is performed by politicians who have a blinding trust in the concept employed as preventative responsibility contained within the theory of plausible deniability. That, on judgement day penance may be translated to the language of individual responsibility and will fail the Judge's inquiry and be passed on as the administration of justice.
