For liberals, progressives, democrats, and many republicans the goal of a government program is not to end the problem. Rather the goal is to give themselves the authority to make the decisions that perpetuate the problem. Name a government program that has solved a welfare issue.

I have comfort in knowing that everything is going according to plan. The glitch seems to be knowing beforehand whose* and which plan is on the marquee and will play out regardless.
