As the holyday on December 25, 2022, which celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ approaches, hopefully everyone will feel God’s love in the spirit of joy and wonder.
For what my puny mind can offer to anyone who has feelings of despair and anger about a parent who abandoned them, remember it is likely that where you are now is where they were then. If appropriate and if you can find it in your heart, say a pray for them now. Perhaps your prayer will find your love for them contained within God’s love for you nestled in your heart. Perhaps it will provide a path to freedom from anguish.
