Socialism: is primarily a political system.
Communism: is primarily a political system.
Marxism: is primarily a political system.
Wages and profits are part of the economic system. E.G., a tradesman who owns his own tools and equipment is making a profit when he charges a price for his work. Or an incorporated entity that owns its own tools and charges a price for their work.
Politicians behave as though economics and politics should be interdependent.

It struck me that the result from the effort to rid the past of the history of slavery now may come to the perfect ending with the elimination of a past problem that doesn't exist now. That itself deserves the "Go figure" award.
