When history is written what will be said about the politicians from the 1960’s to the 2010’s:
They taxed more than all others in history, then they spent even more than they taxed, and succeeded at nothing. (Or succeeded in diminishing everyone and everything).
History will record the great political achievements of our times: Destruction of the family, poverty, excessive debt, lower standard of living, deteriorating educations, diminished morality, increased illiteracy.

It struck me that the result from the effort to rid the past of the history of slavery now may come to the perfect ending with the elimination of a past problem that doesn't exist now. That itself deserves the "Go figure" award.
