Many blacks have kidded themselves into believing that in a lot of cases their personal circumstances are the result of discrimination. Their situations are not the result of their own decisions combined with decisions of socially constructed adjacent black (white) people who know what is best for black people.

It struck me that the result from the effort to rid the past of the history of slavery now may come to the perfect ending with the elimination of a past problem that doesn't exist now. That itself deserves the "Go figure" award.
