Cultural appropriation is a psychologically covert tactic used to obliterate said culture. Instead of spreading a culture which is both the stated and implied effect of appropriation, cultural exposure is blocked from everyone by convincing people there is an “oppressive” reason for the appropriation. Most likely the appropriation is in reality appreciation the individual is expressing with their interest in a particular aspect of others’ cultures.
