The fallacy of most liberal causes is that there is no possible solution if the person who is in the “oppressed” condition does not want to do anything to get out of the situation.
It is a trait similar to the behavior of addicts. As much as “concerned” people want to help an addict, until the addict wants to change there will be no change occurring.
