I am disappointed that the innumerable opportunities to jump on the bandwagon that Obama lays out there for all commentators. When Obama acknowledges that he has not been able to correct the financial effects preceding him, I would stipulate that the situation was bad. My simple and repetitive question from that point would be: Are you going to learn how to fix it? Or will this economic malaise remain for the rest of your presidency? Bad management is not as politically charged as ideology.

Maybe the most self-beneficial reconciling penance administered by/for/to humans is performed by politicians who have a blinding trust in the concept employed as preventative responsibility contained within the theory of plausible deniability. That, on judgement day penance may be translated to the language of individual responsibility and will fail the Judge's inquiry and be passed on as the administration of justice.
