The premise is that change be accomplished by destruction. The constant becomes the destruction because construction is not a skill they possess. The only end possible is total destruction even though it is their own.

It struck me that the result from the effort to rid the past of the history of slavery now may come to the perfect ending with the elimination of a past problem that doesn't exist now. That itself deserves the "Go figure" award.
