Perhaps what may be considered an amazing perspective by people who ignore or outright deny history and God is that they think our ancestors conducted themselves to oppress future generations. If these current “future” generations have any common sense they might consider alternative reasoning. That reasoning is that our ancestors learned by experience that there is a God. And if the current generations thought about it for a moment, they might recognize that the same type of events keep occurring over time.

Maybe the most self-beneficial reconciling penance administered by/for/to humans is performed by politicians who have a blinding trust in the concept employed as preventative responsibility contained within the theory of plausible deniability.
