Liberalism, progressivism, communism, socialism, fascism, totalitarianism… fail because no one is responsible for anything. Or, as they describe it, the collective is responsible. The collective is a group of people who can be identified as “not me”s. Not me is the uniform answer obtained from members of the collective when asked who is responsible. These types of societies last only as long as responsible persons fail to realize everyone else is irresponsible. And, they don’t care.
