The great achievement in liberalism, progressivism, socialism, communism is the power to make the “decision”. The results are not relevant regardless of the impact the decision has on society. It is the same as the Jim Jones syndrome: drink the cool aid because I tell you to and be happy you did. At least until you die because the cool aid was poisoned.
