Liberals, progressives who advocate endless growth of government get into trouble when they forget either intentionally or unintentionally that the people who comprise the government do not actually produce anything of value. When those people working as government can no longer give money away inevitably, they pay for it by their own destruction.

It struck me that the result from the effort to rid the past of the history of slavery now may come to the perfect ending with the elimination of a past problem that doesn't exist now. That itself deserves the "Go figure" award.
