The most foundational and fundamental flaw in liberal ideology is that everyone preceding them was too stupid to understand the ideas they are espousing.
It is the ultimate hubris and exemplification of the expression “I’m right and the world is wrong”. In the liberal environment it could be worded I’m right and all of humanity has been wrong.
