If you believe the democrats that you are oppressed, then you have accepted oppression and that neither you nor the democrats can change it.
If you believe that you are the victim of discrimination, then you have accepted discrimination and that the democrats cannot change it.
If you believe that you are the victim of a war against women, then you have accepted that you cannot defend yourself nor can the democrats.

What I am quite but not completely sure of is that I would support not preventing anyone from not doing what they do not want to do. However, in some situations I would not recommend such behavior.
