Vocal weapons may be fostering the development of the phrase Individually Assured Destruction in the current political atmosphere. It reflects the accumulation of personal mental damage that hate can have on oneself by applying their vocal/mental hatred toward others.

Government appears to make the decisions about taxation as if they cannot live without them taxes. It seems logical that it should occur to themselves that the same circumstances will develop between themselves and the whole remaining society who become unable to live without those taxes. Ultimately the lives to be taxed will trade positions.

Can't imagine that the "physical" verbal action of accusing another of racism with the accused being guilty of a mental "nonphysical" act assumed and founded on an assumption that the accused thinks about racism is not likely an accusation made that is not a learned practice of racism, likely through racist. A mirror's image of our/their selves. A side's perception varies on their opinion.
