An answer to a person who wants to increase taxes on wealthy people is to tell that person, that taxing a rich person at 70% is a good way to find out how and why they are wealthy. It will not produce more taxes over time.
If the person being given this answer does not understand it, is a fruitless effort to try to explain it.
