If the president is correct about people fearing blacks more than others, the important question is why blacks? Why not indigenous Indians, Asian Indians, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Caucasians, Hispanics, Hispanic Caucasians, or any other ethnic group. Are blacks good, and the rest of the world population is bad. At least it seems to him that is so.

It struck me that the result from the effort to rid the past of the history of slavery now may come to the perfect ending with the elimination of a past problem that doesn't exist now. That itself deserves the "Go figure" award.
