For the low information voter, a concise lesson in economics. Let’s call it economics 000 to ∞. Instead of calling the course the popular name economics 101.
Forget everything everyone has said about economics. The happiness of society depends on how much can be produced by society.
At one extreme no one produces anything, and society perishes.
At the other extreme everyone produces more than what they need to live and society flourishes.

It struck me that the result from the effort to rid the past of the history of slavery now may come to the perfect ending with the elimination of a past problem that doesn't exist now. That itself deserves the "Go figure" award.
