At this moment in history, if logic and reason do not become fashionable, it seems feasible that America has a likely destiny to experience one or even both of two events. Both of the events will leave records of tragedy. The first event can be named the Marie Antoinette event. The second event can be named the Jim Jones event. Both events will be the result of a negative reaction by a majority of society to those who proclaim and act as though they are better than the society that is their foundation. They will attempt to tell society how their lives should be lived.

Maybe the most self-beneficial reconciling penance administered by/for/to humans is performed by politicians who have a blinding trust in the concept employed as preventative responsibility contained within the theory of plausible deniability.
